Sold my 2020 G63

Got offer even i cant refuse. 15k miles on car, 2020, Msrp was 179k. sold for 225 and thats after 15-16 months of ownership and 15k miles driven. My wife is getting a Bentley truck so we dont need two trucks and she wasn't a fan of the G.

What did i buy? only car I felt would give me as much driving pleasure and match well with my supercars when i cant drive them??? 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed… Twin Turbo Twelve! Should be a blast. Will be back in another G down the road. Fun times.

Congrats on the sale! I am in the same boat on mine. I have one more month on the "no export agreement" then I can sell. What to move on to next is a hard decision. Was thinking a Ferrari of some sort.

love the G. Most individual car I have driven… so the only way i would switch is if i can get a car that could be another “event”… I already own supercars. Never had a V12 before and with wife getting the Bentley truck… i felt that the continental GT Speed could fill that need… completely different car but its special, very low volume etc…

I think i am the first to get the 22 model. Bentley has had better retained values and this GT Speed isnt easy to get… 340k is alot to spend on an everyday car but G funded a good portion of that ☺️

Congrats on your new buys and definitely not trying to rain on your parade but I cant get behind anything from VW group. I guess to the masses it wont matter but I would know it shares the same platform (and probably much more) with the Panamera. Same thing with Bentayga that shares a platform with a Q7, Q8, Urus, VW Touareg and a Cayenne (and others). They also have the same engines across multiple brands.
Again nothing against OP and I hope you enjoy the ride. But cars like the G with its own designated factory, sharing a platform with nothing else (not even another Mercedes), hand built engine, just feels more special.

cant disagree with your G assessment at all.

Congrats on the sale! I agree it’ll be much easier to let the G go if a Bentley is coming in. See you around.

Did you sell to a private buyer, or was that a price paid by a dealer on trade/buyout?

Congrats on the Bentley. Can't go wrong with a V12!
