specs indicate standard options are heated windshield and wipers. Am i missing something. They freeze and dont work well at all in any inclement weather. anyone have any thoughts. I
talked to MB and everyone appears confused.

 

The heating of the windshield and wipers is solar powered out of concern for the environment so that option does not work as well when it is cloudy but it works perfect when it is sunny outside!!!

 

The wipers have no integral heating elements. Too bad, as they would cost $500/set to replace each year if they did.
