I went into my dealer to finalize my order for a G63, and the salesman told me they have an allocation for a square ($40k ADM). I agreed and moved forward. However, still wondering if I made a wise decision.
I wonder keep wondering, was I lucky? or has the demand subsided.

mine has been sitting at the port for the last 4 weeks due to the stop sale..I have contacts at other dealerships asking for mine. I guess people will buy irrespective of the fiasco as MB will find a permanent fix and is being made in small numbers..I'm in Canada, never got a letter, but a lady from the Atlanta MB office called and offered me some money for a future purchase. :-(

I doubt it. I think they plan to sell as many as they can. MB doesn't incur the costs, their dealers do, so if a dealer has one sitting in their showroom for a while, MB still got paid.
Plus, most dealers are still going to try to ask for ADMs, so they expect the built examples to just sit in their showroom until someone comes along.

2021 G63, 2024 Range Rover SV LWB, 2023 Bentley Continental GT W12, 2024 S63e (on order)
Anyone else been negotiating with MB about their squared? I've pushed them to the limit on both cash in pocket, buy back and money off my next car.
I went and picked mine back up from the dealer yesterday after droppong it off in December.
I have been debating if I want to do the buy back. Anyone else just driving theirs on the regular?

They will cover what you paid with the buy back. They also told me they would cover the ceramic coat I paid for elsewhere. I'd hadn't driven mine since December and wanted to see how much I loved it. So I went and picked it up yesterday. My wife has a standard g63 and honestly enjoyed driving the squared that much more yesterday. Not sure what I want to do.

I'm curious if anyone on here has actually had theirs break yet. And if so, I wonder if MB will actually warranty it since they did a stop-drive campaign on it and told everyone not to drive them. I'm sure they would cover the repair just to save face, but any other incurred expenses (towing, other damage done) could potentially be disputed since an actual recall campaign has been issued.

They will buy back at whatever cost you bought it for (including the ADM), I heard they will also pay for any ppf/ceramic work done in that time frame before recall was announced. I spent 10k doing mine and have not seen it since that point in mid Dec. My dealer didn't even want me to drive it back to them (10 min away!). MB are also offering 10k off next vehicle purchased. If you do decide to keep it, i'm hearing there will be some money recovered by buyer but do not know of the details yet. I'm 50/50 on what to do at this point as I also have a 2021 G63 that I use and love very much already.

I am as well. Just a waiting game. My build date was pushed till June or July (I forget) from April or May.
Might quit on it and pick up a black series instead since I sold my Pro

When this happened, I ended picking up a Ferrari 812 Superfast a couple of weeks ago. Funny, after coming to grips on the price tag of the squared... everything else seemed very affordable. I'm still holding out for the squared, but we'll see how things progress.
