Quote: So MBUSA sent out a bulletin today with base pricing for all 2023 models. The G 63 says TBA on the price line. Interesting that there was no mention of the 4X4 in the memo. G 550 shows no increase in base price.
any mention of 2023 G being any different than 2022 such as facelift or equipment?

Interesting. Sounds like allocations will be changing over to 2023 soon?

I guess it's good the G550 didn't increase but not really excited for another possible G63 increase!

My guess is that it will be a while before we have 23 allocations.
They are projecting release of that car as winter 2023.

Winter 2023 meaning

the 4x4's that are coming are 2022's. the 2023 version is missing from the price bulletin. No mention of it at all.

Since production only started in 2022 they can continue producing the 2022 4x4 into 2023.

Word on the street is no new allocs hit on 8/15. Anyone heard any additional details?

Perhaps they're just sticking to a monthly alloc release schedule (so next one would be 9/1)?

Allocations are usually mid month. so 9/15 for the next one.

Ah, understood. Strange, my dealer didn't get any extra on 8/15 (though they were expecting some more).

Thanks so much for the info! Always appreciated.

My dealer hasn’t gotten any allocations even though they are a large dealer that sells lots of G wagons.

As of last night, my delaer didn't see any new allocations since 7/15, so it's entirely possible none were given on 8/15. Guess we just have to wait to see if anything comes out on 9/15!

Out of curiosity do you all mean your dealer got zero allocations for any G's in August or just talking about 4x4's only?

I'm referencing Squared allocations only. I think some regular G's were allocated, but honestly wasn't looking at that info.

I called around to S. Cal dealerships in the last month and they are at 150K to 250k ADM at the moment.

Anyone seeing anything more reasonable out there and point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

I understand MB will be producing the 2022 until Dec 2022 just like last year and most likely initial 2023 production will be unchanged. The facelift slated for 2023 has not even been announced yet and is still in camouflage testing so we will probably not see it until late 2023 as a 2024 model along with the EQG. I heard from my dealer that there will very likely be an additional batch of 4X4 squared released next year which goes along with the delayed facelift release. Automakers in Germany and Europe in general are under tremendous energy and supply chain pressure currently so last thing they need is another set of different parts inventory while short on current parts.

Anyone who pays a 150k-200k ADM for this deserves to go broke. :o
