ho lol got it, thanks!
Yep, I guess that the market won't plummet and they will keep their value, you are not going to earn 40-50 k when you sell it but cmon, a car is not an investment and as someone said in the thread, anything below 20% of the value you paid is a blessing!
people should stop getting greedy...

Yes to the buyer $222k but that $5k goes to BAT so “20k-ish profit” to the seller since they paid taxes on the $190k, although as you said they probably are taking a loss from ADM which explains the reserve.
They should have sold especially with a base interior spec, prices aren’t going to be higher.

Many saw an opportunity and took advantage of it.
Perhaps greed isn't all bad?

depends on location. in NJ, premiums are still up there and some dealers have no allocations… like in NY (nanuet bone dry)… my dealer has 3 in NJ and they are 60k adm each… they may get 30k adm but they will NOT sell for msrp.
mine (2022) has msrp of 212k and i paid 240. i am fine with that… so it depends
unless you have been waiting for one on an allocation, a walk in wont get msrp… maybe they pay 30k over.
most dealers post on their site that they have some coming or on lot but thats a lie…

Hi all, I’m the owner of a 2021 g63. My car is fully loaded and has less than 2000km’s on it. It’s Arabian grey with 22” wheels premium everything, night package including custom factory black lettering around the vehicle. I was told by my dealership that I’d barely break even in a trade in. Is this accurate ? If that’s so, that means the price of G’s aren’t retaining as much as I thought they would.

Yes, since early this year, average G-Wagen prices have been dropping.

White is polarizing.
This might be a better indicator.

CarGurus seems to suggest the market is softening for all late model Gs.

Don't you know it's the bitcoin crash that is causing this?

I chit chatted with sales rep up there in the past 6 months when I was searching. There is definitely room on the market up. Just dont expect MSRP pricing...

I wouldn't trust a salesman to confirm what day it is; let alone place my faith in them for market conditions and what prices I should be over-paying by. Im sure there are still hot markets like NY and Cali out there, but these scummy sales guys and dealerships all have their own agenda.
That being: keep the delusion going for as long as possible and keep telling folks there will be 100k ADM's forever.

What does Cargurus know?! They can’t know the transaction price so it’s garbage. Just because a graph looks legit doesn’t mean you should trust it.
