Thats shocking to me. Nationwide insures all kids of cars, including Ferraris and Rolls Royces. Not sure why they would reject it. My G63 is insured by GEICO (so I am not sure what the problem was). Also State Farm may be fine, but as an attorney, I cant tell you State Farm is the WORSE at paying any claims including to their own insureds - they are subject to regular lawsuits over their breach of claim handling practices.

Yeah. I was a bit surprised. I had great luck with State Farm in the past and was referred an agent by my Nationwide Agent. She was great. No accidents or tickets on my record... happy with policy secured.

Hasn’t been my experience …. All 10 of my cars are with them, as is everything else, and I’ve had several >100k claims and never had an issue with any of them, across cars and homeowners. Same for my parents.
I’ve heard about the vaunted Chubb experience but even friends of mine with Chubb were surprised how easy my claims have been, particularly a very large and varied lightning claim.
My personal view as it relates to attorneys and insurance companies is that when someone gets an attorney involved, they’re looking for a jackpot and I think for those of us who play it straight, the insurance company has every right to not pay those.
