Looks like on Autotrader, MB Encino and MB Akron have posted pictures of 2023 G63's on the lot. Neither one is listed on their respective dealer websites though.

why would MB-USA publish this with no cost if it was not accurate? This was an official release from MB. I specifically spec'd the CB trim and steering wheel because it was no cost. Had I known, I would have spec'd a different interior trim. It's odd that MB-USA is not addressing this. The online configurator is STILL NOT active for the 23 build... how is one expected to spec a $180k+ car being unable to select options with associated pricing? At the end of the day, I'm grateful to be finally getting a G63 but a little disappointed with the inaccurate information and getting final cost of spec AFTER it was built.

Windows sticker for USA MY2023 G63
I saw this morning at a local dealer. The unit had a sold tag on it. Appears they are released and does appear that there is no change in pricing for MY23. Carbon fiber is on here and charged at $3700 and the msrp and destination as well with no change from MY22.

Perfect and thank you - consistent with my PO....

The information presented in this guide is based on the most current information available and is intended for internal use only. Mercedes-Benz reserves the
right to make changes at any time, without notice, to colors, materials, equipment, special specifications and models.
Pricing may not yet be finalized for some models or options.
Edit:
That order guide was also from October of 2022. A later revision posted here removes those notes from the What's New section. It seems like your dealer should have reached out and let you know things had changed. See here:

Even with the updated order guide when they removed it from "what's new", they still listed carbon fiber as $0 in the options. I know that guide has plenty of typos but it is annoying that they even mentioned it being free then took it away.
From a business standpoint I don't blame them--they still sell every G they make, often above MSRP. At least they didn't raise prices.
$3700 isn't a deal breaker obviously on a $200k vehicle but now I have to enjoy the heck out of the carbon fiber lol.

Yup good to know what's going on moving forward especially now as I'm working on securing a loan.
If I had known there would be a charge, I probably would have done the matte grey wood again and base steering wheel, but it'll be a nice change to have carbon and the alcantara wheel. I'll go cheap again on my 2024 lol.

Curious if anyone has had their 2023, particularly a G63, delivered or released from
the VPC yet. I received word that ours is due to arrive at the VPC on 1/31 but curious if anyone has had theirs released yet. I'm in process of trading our current 2021 in early but may reconsider given last experiences on new years (our 2019 was held for months and 2021 for several weeks). My dealer informed me they haven't had any 2023s delivered yet.

Assuming it doesn’t get held at the VPC then it’s usually a week to process the vehicle and then another week or so for transport.

my '23 took a week to get from Long Beach to UT - im picking it up next week - think 3700 is a ripoff for the plastic carbon fiber - had it on my C63s and was not impressed. i prefer the 'open pore wood' as it has a nice matte look - have that on my E63s wagon and just looks cleaner and doesn't show finger prints/smudges - would have loved to have gottne matte cf - the metal weave is fine with me tbh - going to put matte ppf on it - did same on my RR

asked my PPF installer about doing matte PPF over the gloss CF trim. They advised against doing it on the interior as said they had not been pleased with prior installs on interior trim. it worked ok for you in past? any picts of how it came out? Have the black open pore ash wood on my 2019. Like it but kinda bored of it. Have the gloss CF trim and steering wheel spec'ed on my 23 build BUT would definitely prefer matte CF look if doable.

I liked the black open pore ash on my 2021. 2022 came with piano black which I didn't spec (and never would get again). My 2023 has gloss CF and steering wheel and it looks really good. However, the alcantera on the steering wheel gets old quickly though.

Well just like you had to go to a Dealership to get your Mercedes in the UK its changed as of now but only for the G Class if you want to go and get one you MUST go direct to Mercedes the dealership does not handle anything from spec / payment / and it is STICKER price. They are getting rid of the dealerships and going direct. You also must sign some agreement saying you will not re-sell the car and you must provided your ID for verification if you meet the correct criteria for me however this is my 3rd one this is no issue. But say a new customer it would be very very very hard to do so. I do not know if they have something like this in the USA as of yet but going forward this is what will be rolled out. As I assume with a dealership they tend to loose out on a lot of profits. I have not heard of anyone else go through something like this.
