Curious if anyone has had their 2023, particularly a G63, delivered or released from
the VPC yet. I received word that ours is due to arrive at the VPC on 1/31 but curious if anyone has had theirs released yet. I'm in process of trading our current 2021 in early but may reconsider given last experiences on new years (our 2019 was held for months and 2021 for several weeks). My dealer informed me they haven't had any 2023s delivered yet.
I don't have any info but until they release full pricing, I don't think they can release them from the VPC to the dealers? No pricing = no sticker = can't be sold yet = no reason to send to the dealers is my thinking.
MSRP's been announced (same as 2022), but they haven't announced prices for some of the options.
My 23 arrived to port around 2 weeks ago. Was anticipating delivery any day until VPC notified my Dealer that 23's are not released yet and may be sitting until March. So much for that clear bra appt I had scheduled for Friday.
Looks like MB of freemont has a 2023 on the lot with pics. Check ebay or their website. They want about 200k for a g550. Probably because they're one of the first to get their hands on a 2023. I find it hard to believe someone is going to pay 200k for a 550 when they can get a slightly used 63 for that price. But who knows.. maybe

Dealers are definitely getting builds and prices are released.
The MSRP has been released but the option prices haven’t been updated on my PO I saw a few weeks ago, for example carbon fiber was still priced when it’s supposed to be free.

Are you referring to ZG6 or VA7? You’re right that the 2023 DOG shows those options as free but didn’t they charge for them on the 2022 model? May just be a mistake in the order guide?

Just received word from dealer that MB "launching 2023 G63's". He of course received this info on Saturday and couldn't clarify exact date over weekend but will do so on Monday. He expects we are 1-2 weeks out.
-Base price for G63 is listed on the PO's as $179,000. Identical to 2022 MSRP. With how things are with the economy and the G63 market, I assume this will stay.
-Very minor changes to 2023 except for a new G logo package where the flood lights and the button to open the door have a G logo.
-My 2023 PO has option prices listed as well, but they are the 2022 prices.
The 2023 DOG specifically stated that carbon fiber trim--ZG6--(and all trims) is free now and they show $0 for all trims.
Also they have made the standard silver 21" rims free (~$1000) as well as the base G manufaktur interior (~$3000), so they have not listed prices for any rims or interior options in the last DOG. I have to assume (and hope) the other options will be adjusted downward as a result.
I hope MB doesn't renege on this--I optioned carbon fiber trim (and steering wheel) because it was free. I don't wait to pay $3700 for that lol.
I share your sentiment that hopefully the 2023 prices as listed in the DOG remain as is, but I doubt MB is going to basically drop the price on 2023 models by reducing some options to $0 especially when prices seem to be creeping up rather than down… We shall see!

they should pass on the aluminium gas cap for 23 and beyond...

Build sheets show $3700 charge. $3700 shows in the configurator. I don't see any wording on the DOG that the carbon fiber trim was free. It shows $0 on the option line, but usually there is some verbage in the "whats new" section when an option is free.
Original 2023 DOG from 10/5/22 had it listed under what's new. Updated DOG from 10/26/22 didn't say it under what's new but kept the $0 listed under options.
Obviously not a deal breaker but I'll hold out hope that it's free until I see it on a 2023 G63 Monroney. I saw it's still $3700 on the 2023 G550 which reflects what the G550 2023 DOG said.

I would guess MBUSA changed their minds, since it shows the charge on the build sheet and they removed the wording from the DOG
When I was building mine with the dealership gm, even though the order guide said $0 for the CF trim, it increased by the $3700 in the ordering software.
Did receive update from dealer today. GWagen is waiting for vessel in Germany.
MSRP is $179 and all options were priced for the PO. ZG6 ( AMG carbon fiber trim) was included at $3700
Compared to my 2020 G63 build:
- Base price - increased $26,500
- Options - Only 2 of 9 options selected had price increases - RG4 wheels ( $200) and DB3 Exclusive Interior Package ($200)
- Delivery and destination - increased ($155).
I'm pleasantly surprised and hope prices hold.......
