Would a 2018 G550 have the ILS hardware feature as does the 2018 S550?

it has it, but it's not fully enabled in the US. needs to be coded for full operation.

 

what more additionals do we get?

 

All cars with SA code 640 and up can have Advanced ILS+
G Class can have a whole bunch of more mods depending on it's options

 

2021/2022 Mercedes-Benz G550 fully loaded… what additionals do I get with the unlocking of the ILS?

E -class headlights differ tremendously from the G-Class Headlights!

SO MY QUESTION TO YOU - FROM YOUR OWN VIDEO WHAT ILS OPTIONS DOES THE G-Class receives? Unless we get exactly the same features as an E class! Which is hard to believe!

 

Sorry to deceive you but it's rather static or not if you have HLI lights
of course static lights can't but you have code L57 IHC Light
you have HLI_FL247_BR177 lights with PXL213 just like any other MB later gen ILS

so you will get the same as any other MB, because there is only with or without

Most of the features are already activated from the factory on your G550, but it's safe to say that ILS+ (or Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus) is not activated on your G550.

Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus switches automatically between:
- Dipped beam
- Partial main beam (not available as US/CA cars)
- Main beam
The partial main beam uses the main beam to shine past other road users rather than dazzling them. The vehicle in front is illuminated by the dipped beam. The advantage is that parts of the roads with no cars illuminated much longer distance as Main beam is still ON there

I got it unlocked on my g63. And it works similar to this video. You can have mainbean on most of the time and it blocks out cars in front by turning off squares in the led array. It also illuminates round corners and illuminates signs and the side of the road, whilst not dazzling other drivers or pedestrians.
