NEW G63 Market
Hi Guys i am a new member here looking for some advice.
I am in the market for a new G63 and wonder if anyone can shed some lights on the current market for it. I have asked a few dealers and was told on prices ranging from MSRP + 20K to MSRP +40K. Would it be reasonable to find a new G63 at close to MSRP at the moment? Thanks in advance!

You need to get as close to MSRP as possible. It's a funny market - new G63's are still selling for ADM (seems like we are back to $10-20k versus $40-50k from last year), used G63's are still listed above MSRP, but trade-ins are lower now. Dealers don't want to take risks holding that much capital on a vehicle.
I had a black 2022 with low miles a few weeks ago, and I had a couple of low-ball offers ($20k below sticker) and a few at sticker. Any ADM's you pay will instantly be lost.
If you plan on keeping the car awhile, then it's a matter how impatient you are and how much cash you are willing to set on fire.

Yes I was a bit surprised too. I spoke to around 8 dealers and was surprised at the tepid response.
Funny thing is dealer I sold to for a few thousand over sticker listed it for $217k and sold it within two weeks. Meanwhile their other branch across town didn’t want to even offer me a price.

I just started my search last week here in S. Cal where the market is supposedly "hot". I had a couple dealers who said the obligatory $75K ADM off the back and when I went back at them at MSRP, they quickly came down to $10-$15K. I had one dealership come down to $5K here locally.
From my observation this week, if it has monoblocks or the 22's, they will want 10-15k minimum. If you can find a car with 21's, it seems like they are more eager to get rid of those at 5K -10K over msrp.

i just got mine paid $15K over - sticker was $193 - optioned quite nicely - only option i would have changed is the cross spoke wheels - other that love the spec
oddly enough 2 other dealers that are close by are $50K over and not negotiating

The fact you still deal with Dealers is so nice. Here in the UK the dealers do not sell the G Classes anymore you MUST go direct to Mercedes in order to get one witch they will approve you. Good for me I have 2 so I am all good not good for a new customer tho. This is the new system Merc recently introduced as before we got them from the dealers they used to cut the prices for us. Now its sticker full price. You must sign something saying you won't resell the vehicle within the first year.

I think most people are saying $15k ADM is the max to pay right now.
Mercedes closed 2023 allocations recently, so the expectation is 2024 orders will be opening up soon. My dealer thinks they will be revised some but I know the discussions on the forum make it sound like it will be delayed to the 2025's.
Now that trade-ins have softened, I'm on the fence on getting a 2024 if it is completely unchanged, since I love the spec on my 2023, but if it's revised I'll definitely upgrade.

Not American, maybe someone can correct me if Im wrong. But from the sounds of this forum it seems like a lot of dealers refuse to sell out of state for a G63. So it makes sense that places like NY or Cali will be higher because they have drastically more demand and more ppl with money.

Most dealers won’t sell out of state so there can be regional variability. Makes sense west and northeast have the highest markets.
If dealers do sell out of state you can bet they will hit buyers with high ADMs to offset the loss of getting the vehicle serviced by a local, reducing the risk of exporting, and taking advantage of somebody who is motivated enough to buy out of state.
