Looks awesome! Were you able to confirm if the running boards are black now with the night package?

 

In the picture it kind of looks like the Arabian Grey with Night Package Plus has silver running boards. I hope I am wrong otherwise I will need to figure out a way to make them black for my Yellow one coming in January.

Thanks for confirming. It’s odd that the black running boards are a G550 feature only.

 

Took delivery, really happy with how my spec turned out. Ran some tests driving her home to see how all systems and things performed:

The good: no auto start stop! Yes! No rattles or speaker issues detected too

The interesting: Seems like the side exit exhaust tips do not protrude out as much from the running boards as they did on my 21, or I could be hallucinating.. Also car doesn't seem as loud under same exact settings, but again could be hallucinating or the exhaust system might need time to break-in..

Also notice the same trail of water or liquid pulling into the garage from under the truck when running AC cold at high fan speeds. My 21 did this and this 2024 is doing this as well

The "bad": My steering wheel may not have been installed fully set "straight", seems like at a 2 degree angle the car drives straight and at a 0 degree angle the car veers slightly left. I believe this is a steering wheel install issue, versus alignment issue, because ironically I had this exact same issue on my 2021 after swapping the OEM leather wheel out for an OEM wood wheel from the parts department, where the car would veer left when the wheel is dead on, and they also noticed the same issue when I pointed it out to them, re-installed the wheel one notch to the left, and it was remedied

Last month, I asked my dealer about black running boards on my G 63 (December build), and they told me the following:

Richard, this is noted in the Dealer Ordering guide. We have DF4 on your build.

Night Package Updates: MANUFAKTUR Black Running Boards now included in DC1, DE9, DF4

 

Allocation confirmed.
March 2024 built. Deposit paid. PO done.
And yes!!! MSRP only

Does anyone know if the Seat Comfort Package is no longer a paid option if you select the MANUFAKTUR Interior Package Plus option? I have the MANUFAKTUR Interior Package Plus $8,250 in my build sheet but it no longer shows the Seat Comfort Package. For 2023 on mbusa.com, the Comfort package would cost an additional $2,420. Is it standard now?

Yes, the Seat Comfort Package is included with MANUFAKTUR Interior Package Plus. If you open the DOG attached to this thread, search for the code DD5 and you will see PK2 - Seat Comfort Package listed there.

Question: AMG Night Package comes with exterior lettering in black??

I do not prefer silver lettering. I am going with MANUFAKTUR Moonlight White exterior.
Ordering at Mercedes is confusinggg (lack of clarification, etc.)

 

the AMG Night Package PLUS (DE9) comes with the MB Star and exterior lettering in black. The regular AMG night package (DC1) does not.

 

Yea but dislike black wheel arches.
I guess no stand-alone option for G.
