Why no Biturbo emblem on G550?

Just a thought.
Curious why there is a Biturbo emblem on the G63s and not on G550?
It does have a Biturbo V8.

When you cough up an extra $100K for a G63, you should get something for your affluence signaling.😉

Those badges are usually for AMGs, yes your truck has a BiTURBO V8 though.

I badge delete all my cars. Even went to the trouble of removing the now illuminated Maybach emblems which I needed a body shop to patch up. No reason to brag especially these days….

Fair enough, you want to be understated and just want to have a regular looking Benz or S-Class for that matter, nothing wrong with that, enjoy your Maybach

Thanks…it is a personal preference I realize most wouldn’t agree with me.

Having a personal preference is a wonderful thing though. Just in my opinion.

It's a refreshing take in this world of people putting panamericana grilles on non-AMGs and Lexus badges on Toyotas.

I bet you asked for a factory model delete on your Turbo S didn't you?

Speaking of which (unless I am missing something) I wonder why MB doesn't offer factory delete as a no-cost option like Porsche but then Porsche is the king of options so no surprise there.

Shockingly Porsche does not charge for the badge delete option. That and the smoking kit are about the only 2 free options! My MB dealer has always removed badges for free for me. As mentioned the side emblems for Maybach are now lit so they have a wire and requires a body shop to repair. It is so crazy how many logos the car has. I think cars look so much better without all the badges…much cleaner aesthetic.

I share your thoughts with the fully debadge look but we are part of the minority.

I count 14 Maybach badges on S Class inside and out. A bit excessive, no?
