Insurance ?
I have all my cars including a gl450 and bikes are insured with Allstate and I am pretty happy with their service.
received vin for the wagon 2 weeks ago and Allstate told me they don’t insure luxury cars .
any suggestions for other insurance careers ?

I have geico. At one point I had a 2018 Escalade, 2019 G63 AMG, and 2019 BMW m5 on one policy.
Never once mentioned anything about luxury cars.
I wonder if they made a typo or something in the VIN to where it's coming up the wrong vehicle or value or something.

I had Allstate and switched to AAA Insurance for a similar reason, but primarily because AAA materially cheaper. I think I saved 30-40% moving to AAA. I am happy with the service and also signed up for their AAA Card which gets me included tows. AAA card pays for itself usually in 1-2 hotel visits for me.

Here is my current policy with Geico.
2019 BMW M5
2019 G63 AMG
Both have higher than necessary coverage than a finance company would require but not crazy high coverages. 1000.00 deductible on each one. M5 is actually more expensive even though it's 1/2 the value.

Is this because you need to carry collision coverage due to leasing or financing the vehicle?

I've got full coverage on mine also, would be surprised to see someone not have full comp and collision on this vehicle wether financed or not? Mine is paid for, but I still have 100/300/100k, comp, collision, glass (no deductible), and 1000 deductible on everything else.

2013 S550 SOLD / 2016 S63 SOLD / 2017 GLS450 / 2017 G550 4x4 / 2019 G63 E1 SOLD / 2019 S63 COUPE
I remember liberty did the same with me a 2020 S63 Coupe, but not because of Luxury but because of the price of the car was more then the limit they would cover if its a total.

This isn't helpful: but damn! I hate Allstate and State Farm too.......while I'm at it, Farmers can eat chit too.....I've been through all of them and they're horrible, at least here in NC.
It's pretty lame to say to a customer, (not sure how long you've done business with them), that they won't insure one of your cars!

It's funny they insured the 2017 G550 4X4 in 2017 with an MSRP of $235K, and didn't want to insure the 2020 S63 Coupe in 2020 with an MSRP of $220k!
