Emissions recall

I have a 21 G 63 and see I have a recall coming in today’s mail. Anyone else know what this is about? I have a 24 G 63 that’s been built and awaiting a ship to Baltimore as of last week.

I found out they took care of it last week when they reprogrammed the ECU. I still have the active brake assist inoperable and crash avoidance inoperable message occasionally. If I shut it off and start it back up, the message goes away. This has been going on since I took delivery.

The active brake assist inoperative etc message has happened to me in my 2021, 2022, and 2023s. Like you said it always goes away upon restart. I don't even bother bringing it up to the dealer.

In fact I actually turn off my active brake assist every trip now after having it slam on brakes out of nowhere when I approached a railroad crossing. Just part of the muscle memory including turning LKAS off and going into Sport+.

I turn off LKA, turn off auto engine shut off when stopped, turn on sport exhaust. I’ve only had the auto brake come on once when backing into a parking space, scared me. I don’t know why they can’t fix the error messages. It happened again Sunday. I’m just going to wait for my 24 to arrive. The LKA is dangerous in my opinion, especially when it’s snowing or the roads are icy.
