It's been 5 days and 250 miles and here are my 1st impressions on the 2025 vs my 2022 G63.
1- Quieter inside
2- Louder outside
3- Handles better on curves (With the AMG Performance package)
4- MBUX is easier to use with touch display and immediate switching to and from CarPlay and sound system quality is superior.
5- Feels more powerful and responsive and less effort needed to accelerate from standstill although I am still in break in period so can't stress it yet.
6- 10% better fuel economy (From 15 MPG to 16.5 MPG for same trip)
7- LKA assist is now what it should be and Distronic plus cruise control follows the lanes nicely although too quick to alarm if hand off the wheel
8- Auto Engine stop/start feels smooth and effortless
9- Don't like the touch volume control on the steering wheel
1st congrats on that 2025 g63. Beautiful color choice. Since you have the 2022 also, can you tell me if the 2025 is quieter and noticeably smoother driving? What I'm asking is the comfort vastly better with the new performance package?

wow. Ordered dark olive myself. Looks so good. Black magno with it also looks good, that was my concern also, was planning to wrap those bits. But thankfully dont need to.

HAHAHA thanks so much! My boys love this thing, but are sad I sold my Raptor R, as they loved a truck. They love any new car honestly

it’s definitely worth the upgrade in my opinion. I had a 21,24 and now a 25. The 25 rides better , handless better with the active suspension. It definitely feels quicker with the mild hybrid system and the M Bux is much better than the old command system as well as keyless go.

It does seem quieter on the inside and smoother to drive but also seems louder on the outside. Maybe because the noise difference is bigger when you open the doors or the windows. Definitely feel less leaning on curvy roads with the AMG Performance Package.

I forgot to say, it does seem more insulated, quieter than my 21 & 24. The doors are harder to close, thicker door seals.
