Hello, new to forum and intro. I traded in my 2021 Ram TRX on a 2024 G550. I’m installing my U1000 Thinkware front and rear dash cams and will follow up with some photos. I’ve already reviewed some of the post on options for hardwiring which was helpful. I’m also looking for tips on installing G63 exhaust and storage rack.. does anyone know the height to confirm if it will fit in my garage? Thank you in advance for any recommendations or other options I should consider.

Crazy question. Was it missing the center rear floor mat? My dealer told me it is no longer a thing when I picked up my 24.

 

Goofiest design I ever saw -- ditched them and bought the Weathertech set.

I order the rubber mats, which did come with the center mat.

Thank you for the update. I can't imagine why my dealer would tell me they did away with the center mat. I reached in and kept both the carpeted and rubber mat from my 2021 as he explained this.

 

Did it come with the Black running boards?

 

G63 mufflers are super easy to install, just a vband exhaust clamp, hanger and plug for valves. Great mod for sound and looks.

I have some like new black OEM G63 22"s with tires that would look perfect on this car.

 

My 2024 with night package plus did not come with black running boards. Hopefully they get it right for 2025.

 

I wonder how the OP got them on his 2024 550...he has not replied to my question.

 

Ah I just assumed it was the shade making it look black because as far as I can tell nobody with a 2024 has had black running boards.

 

My 2024 G 63 Black Magno with AMG Night Package Magno (DF4) showed up "without" black running boards. When I ordered my G 63, my dealer told me the AMG Night Package Magno (DF4) included black running boards. Wrong. Mine showed up without black running boards. They backtracked and told me the G550 (not the G 63) came with black running boards. Oh well. The truck still looks great I'm not even mad.

 

2024 DOG shows that the 550 night package now comes with black running boards. The G63 does not.

 

Interesting I stand corrected. I read somewhere that the G63 had black running boards too added for 2024, so I assumed Mercedes reneged across the board but it looks like just for the amgs. Puzzling.
