I believe they said that the end of March will be end of the current model production, isn't the new one supposed to start production when the other one ends ?
It feels counter intuitive to not use a production line. I'm asking because i'm very impatient about this release and there isn't much of a discussion around this subject.

An article I read quoted an MB Exec. who said to expect the reveal in the 1st quarter so if that is true we'll see it by the end of this (March) month.

Seems the earliest I remember cars being ready is October for MY 2021 but recently they have released later. All depends on that EPA certification too of course.
Hopefully the order windows open shortly after the announcement.

Mercedesmax probably has a much better handle on this, but my SA told me production for the facelifts will start in December and delivery will likely be in Feb 2025 (first in line for a facelift at my dealership here in Canada). Which would mean orders for Dec production would have to be placed around July/Aug. Not sure about the reveal though.

Just got a notification that sales manager training will begin in late May. So the reveal should be a little before then.
