Did I miss something or is there no mention of bull bars?

 

Hi ​​​@grewal — Checked and found page 6 of the G63 order guide mentions “Brush guard” in the Comfort & Convenience section (?). Also, the Night Package and Night Package Plus summaries indicate “Brush guard in black” on page 12. It does not appear as though there is a factory delete option for the brush guard / bull bar for the U.S. G63, at least for 2025.

Interesting that hybrid assist is not mentioned under “What’s New”

 

This guide is a mess. I wonder what the bull bar would look like with the dark chrome package. The first part mentions black running boards but the second part at the end with the pictures doesn’t mention.

wonder if dark chrome is a way to get night package type look with magno without the black bumper and wheel arches. If the bar is silver can always powder coat.

 

Seems like the only way to get the night package plus with the black running boards, black brushguard, and black emblems, etc but without the black bumpers and wheel arches is if you go Night Black Magno for your color. I was considering switching my current G63 color from Night Black Magno to either Hyper Blue Magno, Arabian Gray, or South Seas Blue Metallic but if I choose any of these I won't be able to get the all black elements without the black bumpers and wheel arches which I'm not a fan of. So, I might have to do a second straight Night Black Magno to get the truck how I want it. At least I can completely change my interior style!

 

Hi @Hodog16 . Good point. I was reading the guide out of curiosity and it is rather disorganized and confusing. I don't plan on upgrading my '24 anytime soon since I've only had mine for less than 2 months.

On my '24, I have the "AMG Night Package Magno" - "DF4" code selection. It's an awesome package as all of the tiny exterior items are matted out in Night Black Mango or otherwise heavily tinted, matching the exterior color scheme of my car. To my surprise, this package did not offer the blacked-out treatment on the running boards. I've been thinking about doing exactly what you mentioned - just having it powder coated matte black. However, I've grown somewhat accustomed to the way it looks now as it helps me pay attention to the running board while entering in a dark garages or at night time (I bumped my shin once while entering the vehicle and BOY DID THAT HURT!!!).

I also noticed how my running boards are the first place to get dirty after a wash. Have you ever powered coated the running boards on any of your G63s? If so, kindly share your thoughts and recommendations on your experience. Thanks in advance!!!

 

I was curious on the Carbon FIber Package and if going with a Magno paint, It appears that package can't be ordered with Magno night package, which makes sense as some components like front underguard in carbon would overwrite the matte black one. However I was hoping for a black brush guard, black exhaust and black running boards along with the black emblems. Does anyone know if the Carbon Package would have that as well? The pictures near the bottom are hard to decipher. I also wanted the A22 active ride but seems in the US market only comes with performance pack an not a standalone like Euro option. Would carbon fiber exterior pack and performance pack bring in the availablility of the other blacked out emblems, side steps, exhaust etc? Boy wouldn't a configurator be nice huh?

 

You can order the night package. I didn’t want the exterior carbon package. I did order the interior carbon package and heated carbon steering wheel. I ordered the performance package minus the gold wheels. I also ordered the exclusive Napa seats.

 

So you can opt for different wheels with the performance package even though it states only the techgold? Also when you say you can order the Night Package was that for a magno paint and you are saying with the exterior carbon package too? It seemed that if you chose the exterior carbon, then the magnot night package was not allowed. The key here is that i'd like the exhaust, typography, emblems and running boards in black. In the German configurator it allowed for some night package 2 that could be selected even with the carbon exterior. Here is an example i am hopeing to find a way to get similar. Even though it is hard to tell that is the carbon package with rear tire holder in carbon. Built from Germany configurator.

 

Not sure, the salesman didn’t really know and the general manager hadn’t looked at it yet. I heard you can opt out of the gold wheels. My order hasn’t been finalized yet, they don’t have an allocation yet. I’ll send my salesman a text about the wheels. I had to order the roof painted in obsidian black. I didn’t order magno paint. I also didn’t order the exterior carbon package or night package.

 

Per my dealer, Netstar configurator for the 2025 G63 became active today. I just spec'd mine.

 

I configured mine today. Still trying to find out if I can opt out of the gold wheels with the performance package. The pictures didn’t show the bull bars. I would rather not have the bull bars, but not a deal breaker. I had a 21 G 63 and have a 24 G 63 now until the 25 arrives.

 

No Trail Package listed for the G63 in the DOG, but the wheel option RG7 requires the Trail Package. A typo or a later release?

Good catch @dunderhi — presumably this is a typo/carryover from the 2024 guide and they meant to refer to the AMG Offroad Package Pro instead, which is option code DC9. Have not seen any references to the Trail Package for the 2025 G63 and do not believe the Trail Package was an option in the German configurator for the 25s, either.

I have the same dilemma. I want the Performance Package with 22” matte black wheels. My SA cannot confirm that I can substitute the wheels (in contrast to the Germany configurator). Ordering today at 2 pm EST and do not want the gold wheels with Arabian Gray!

 

Is Sodalith blue from the G550 launch car available in the US? Is it the same hue as Lunar Blue?

 

What is that manafaktur program that you can customize your G63 any way you want it? is that not a USA program?

 

It's called Manafaktur Kundenwunsch program and I think it's a global program.
Remove before race covered it in his review of the new G. You're able to do paint to sample and customize beyond the standard order guide albeit at a huge cost Im sure.

Here is an example of one in Galactic Beam:

 

The G-Class is explicitly excluded from that program because they feel there are enough options already available through normal ordering.

 

Just configured a 2025 G63 with Performance Package and was allowed to switch from the 22” gold wheels to the 22” cross spoke matte black wheels

 

I just put my G63 order in. Thought you would find this interesting. At my local dealer they have 7 orders for G63, 4 for electric and only one for 550 even though they have 4 550 build slots.

 

So slots to order are open already?

 

You can enter in Netstar for G63 and Electric now but there aren’t any allocations except for 550.

 

Right, anyone in the US that says they have theirs ordered either isn’t telling the truth, or their dealer isn’t telling them the truth.
