First of all congratulations! The yellow seatbelts look amazing, definitely going to spec that on mine.
I know you've barely had the car but wondering if you can comment on if the following pre-facelift problems have been rectified for the facelift:

RMS/Oil separator failures, do you know if they changed the parts or if this issue was addressed for the facelift? Has the little roof spoiler and the changed plastic pillars had any affect on reducing wind noise? Lastly, have the speakers improved (in terms of quality and reduction in door rattles)?

It would be great if you could notify this forum of the ups and downs your ownership experience on your 2025.

 

I had the car since yesterday and the main things i noticed:

- Speakers are still rattling, from what i notice, is the center ceiling speaker that makes the noise
- Still lack of bass from the sound system
- I would totally recommend to add the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, the car feels very stable compared to the old model.
- Exhaust sound is definetly coming through the speakers but i don't hate it at all, plus the car pops a bit on the downshifts, a bit of throwback to the old amg sounds.
- Very annoying speed alert that you have to mute everytime you start the car, you can't permanently turn off
- Amazing looking steeringwheel, however the controls are very hard to use but i think you can get used to it.
- Keyless entry is an amazing feature i would not go without on this car

I will come back with a more detailed review as i put more kms on the car; I'm curious about the windnoise, the dealer is saying is an improvement but i want to see for myself.

Thanks for the details so far. Curious if you’ve had a chance to engage the Active Lane Assist yet? I want to know if it’s as aggressive and scary as the prior years.

What about the proximity sensor, is it as annoying or is that improved?

 

I know it's not a fair question since you've only picked it up, but (1) does the exterior design show any significant changes relative to the '24s - other than the louver-looking side vents in the front bumper (it's difficult to tell by the press photos alone); and (2) do you detect a noticeable difference in the power train with the addition of the e-booster? Thanks.

Very curious to see if there ultimately are any differences between euro spec and US spec for W465 (2025) gen G63, specifically on exhaust and assistance nannies like the speed warning

 

I picked my new G550 2 weeks ago in the US, so not the same but:

You can set speed warning to Off, Visual or Visual and Audible.

LKA works well and is not aggressive.

Sensors are not great they go off when no one is around - for example went off when I was alone at a stop light.

 

How much time did it take for it to arrive from Austria to your country once it was produced?

 

The LKA in my 21 and now my 24 G 63 is dangerous. Especially in snow and ice. I turn it off every time I get in. I have the same issue with the sensors.

 

What kind of steering wheel did you get?

Hi, do you know the configuration code for the yellow seat belts?

 

My dealer was unable to order yellow seat belts. When i checked the MBUSA.com on 550 config, there is no option for colored seat belts.. Only european configurator allows you to select yellow for certain seat color combinations.
