Is anyone running Nitto Ridge Grapplers on their 22 inch wheels? How is the ride and road noise compared to the factory tires?
Thanks!

E rated tires are rather harsh imo. I did not like ridgegrapplers on my lx. I have geolander g015 and love them for three peak performance and mild offroad performance. K02 are historically amazing and comfortable For something more aggressive. K03 are now supposedly even better. For me it would be between the g015 or the K03.
If really wanting Nitto, I believe the hybrid ridgegrappler tire would be the choice. I imagine it was for people like me that don’t want to drive e rated tires as a daily.
enjoy, 22 is big so I’m assuming this will be for an on road ride.

Ridge Grapplers ride terrible and get noisy. Toyo RT Trail, or AT are nice options with a little more aggressive look. Even Nitto Terra Grappler is better than a Ridge for ride quality. Hell, even the Toyo MT rides better than Ridge Grapplers.

Yes, but Nitto doesn't make the Terra Grappler for 22 inch wheels

Note: I do not have this G63 anymore.
The tires were fine on the highway but as they lost tread they did develop a louder hum at highway speeds. The sound was not enough for me to not buy them again but it was none the less there. Off road the tires performed very well.

They have been eliminating sizes for the past couple of years in the Terra, so it would seem they are phasing them out. The Recon Grappler looks to be the replacment for the Terra. I have not run it on anything, so I can't comment on the ride quality, but they have 22" size options.
Toyo AT3 and RT Trail are offered in 22" rim sizes.

Had the tires installed for about a week now (roughly 100 miles driven so far) can’t really speak too much about it since it hasn’t been that long but so far they are great! First impressions: they absorb bumps better than oem tires. There is some road noise after 50-60 mph but it’s not loud or bothersome and I’m very particular about sound. I did notice that after accelerating pedal to the metal from 0-60 the steering wheel can be a bit squirmy but it’s controllable and minor and tends to go away after 30-40 mph.
The wheels look great. Looking forward to trying these out in the snow when winter comes.
