I know this is a new option for 2025, wondering if MBUX Rear Seat Entertainment is a good option to add?

 

Others may feel differently, but I didn't spec it. The rear space for passengers is already cramped as it is and this option eats into that just a little more. Also if it requires a phone or device to stream from anyway, might as well just have your passengers keep themselves entertained on their own devices.

 

I can’t see a scenario where I’d rather have this than iPads mounted back there.

 

yeah, makes sense.. seems like unnecessary in today’s world

 

I wouldn’t option it unless you have to check every box. Not much room and everybody uses iPad anyway.

 

I had it on my 2020. Useless. Kids have ipads these days. We did use fire-sticks which was cool but not worth it

 

I think I already told you, I didn’t order it because there’s not enough room in the rear seat area. Like everyone said, people have their phones or IPads and it’s unnecessary to order it.

 

yes, I am dropping this option from my spec..
the dealer was pushing for it though.

 

of course, they make $ on every option and it increases the SA commission.

 

I agree iPads much better option. Not sure if it is same as S class but you can’t play rear seat entertainment through car speakers. You need to use headphones.

 

Skip the rear entertainment.
Have them enjoy the ride and look aside We already have too much entertainment in our lives lol
