G63 AMG 2025 owners - do you feel the exhaust is too subtle now ?

I've been through this experience with my '24. Go into the menu settings and lower the fan in the rear and set it as the default. Otherwise, both the rear and front ventilation system will go on full blast if you have "AUTO" set, and the rear runs like madness without you knowing. That solved the problem for me. Hope this helps.

I can confirm after the break in period in sport +, the 2025 G63 exhaust is too subtle compared to my 2020 G63.

It's a new thing with MB to make the exhaust quiet on new model AMGs. Maybe the anti-sound lobby got to them. I have a 21 G63 which is not the loudest but the exhaust on 2024 GLS63 and 24 S63 truly sucks. I went the route of downpipes on both. I'm thinking of doing the same on the G63.

Now that I've gotten a few hundred miles after break in and driving S+ exclusively, I see what everybody is saying. It's definitely different but not horrible to me. I like that it seems easier to have it burble and pop, and when it does that on downshifts when braking, I love it.
Yes it's not as loud but not a deal breaker. The improvements in the 2025 to me far outweigh the exhaust changes.

My guess is that the '25 exhaust had to be detuned/retuned to meet EU standards, and MB got lazy and made the slightest adjustments on the ones that made it to the US?

Played with it some today--if you get it up to 5000-6000 RPM that's when I can get it to pop and burble. Usually going from 20 to 50/60 quickly. Then when slowing when downshifting it'll burble a little bit.

Try hitting that RPM and abruptly cut the throttle by quickly removing the foot off the accelerator, it might create the noises as well.

How did you managed to get them to ship to the USA, I mean they specifically said they respect their licensing and relationship with RENNTech last time in their email when we inquired about why they don't ship to North America.
