That is a stunning G63 - love the color combination!!! That wood cargo option is really nice.... I see an OEM one on eBay, but they want $4,500 for it.... It has been there for literally months and months. I offered them $1,500, but no bites. Haha!

Yup. Cheaper is from the factory.
Otherwise its double or triple the price

Originally they had it much lower and raised the price. Maybe they will get desperate and accept my offer. It's not really worth more than that to me. I was also thinking of a fun project where I could actually make one almost identical with my wood working skills. I know OEM would be better, but I may give it a try sometime.
Could be placebo for sure, but noticed the new hybrid G63 feels snappier on acceleration, more instant - which I am almost ashamed to say but is a cool experience... and just 1000% grateful it's not a plug in situation
Finally showed up. November build that got held up at VPC. Number 8 for me since 2021.
Keep going back to Obsidian black.
Congrats!!! Very clean and nice. Black - be it metallic or magno - has always been my favorite color for all of my cars. While I like seeing how creative people get with the various colors of their G63s,I remain partial to black as it allows the G to display its silhouette and design without the visual distraction of colors. JMHO.

It’s definitely more responsive. No more lag due to the hybrid boost. What is your take on the exhaust? Many here dislike it. It’s definitely different but I like that it’s easier to pop and burble. After it’s broken in, push it quickly to 50-55 and let go of the gas and it’s great.
The truck is at my detailers now so haven't had a lot of time with it, and break-in will definitely help
I do think it's different where it's not as loud/angry/aggressive at startup or at standstill at a stop light which is a bummer, but overall the upgrade IMO well worth it
Cons for the upgrade is I'd say exhaust is now 8.5 or 9/10 compared to 10/10 on the prior gen, and definitely miss the prior gen steering wheel but everything else, fit and finish, MBUX + touchscreen, keyless go etc definitely worth it! Plus getting a new spec
Wow that looks great! Nice to see a green hell without black interior with green stitching, although admittedly that’s how I would have spec’d one haha.
The seatbelts are a nice bold touch on the interior.
