Where? If you know of a Texas dealer that will sell at MSRP and will have an allocation slot available in the next 3 months, please let me know.

Go to autotrader and pull the list of 406 of them in stock today then start making phone calls. Many will send you a courier to do the paperwork and will ship it to you especially from bordering states

Thanks but I’d like to order one from the factory so that I can have the options and color I prefer. With 406 for sale. I guess that means my 2024 is not going to get a good price.

2026 G63
It's hard to say--all ordered vehicles get put into inventory so I wager most of those cars are either sold already or have hefty ADM's.

But yes 2024's dropped when the 2025's came out and will do even more when the 2026's come out.

Yep, that’s why I was hoping to trade now, even if I have to wait for an allocation slot. UT fans should be lining up for Burnt Orange Magno!

FYI: I've looked at the link and auto trader isn't keeping up with the current available inventory. There may be sold and/or in transit vehicles on the list. In reality what I've found after searching for the dealerships with the most vehicles in Texas and then going to the website is that although auto trader lists many vehicles available, the real time inventory at the dealership shows no available G63's in every case. Thought you should know in case you're searching for a G63 as well.

That number is just an indicator and although it is not accurate it directly correlates to the overall number of cars in inventory, I have never seen it exceed 300 since Covid for a current year (2025 and newer) for the G63 and in some cases it was below 100 nationwide. Like I said, 11,000 units a year is beyond saturation for a car exceeding $200,000 in price. Mark my words.

A dealer friend of mine told me 1 of 3 G63 deals at his dealership in 2025 fell apart because no one other than MBFS wants to finance cars above $150,000 and MBFS is trying to further milk the G63 by charging more than 8% on average interest on sales and leases of this car. The result is 409 overpriced 2025 unsold new and barely used (less than 1000 miles) G63s today sitting on dealer lots around the country as the identical even more overpriced 2026s are arriving on top. There have never been even half as many of a current year model sitting around in October. Next year, with the $10K increase I would guess there would be more than 1000 of them sitting on dealer lots on any day. Mercedes today is Cadillac of the 80s. The abundantly available G63 has replaced the Cadillac Deville at first and later the Escalade as the favorite drug dealer mobile. Mercedes is slowly killing their reputation bit by bit, from Taurus looking poor performing EVs that have literally won the all time record depreciation championship, to the EQG that is not good as either an electric car or off road car, to 4 cylinder C63s, to badge reengineered Maybachs, to ridiculously overpriced parts and brakes (G63 headlight is almost $8000 and windshield over $3000 and squeaky brakes are almost $10,000 to replace at the dealer) to deteriorating quality of finish and reliability, one blunder after another. Unfortunately they are now killing the G63 by overpricing and over producing while softening the ride to make it more appealing to sell even more to Grandpas and Grandmas making it even less special and rare. People who pay more than $200,000 for a car want something special and the G63 at 11,000 imports per year is anything but! Every neighborhood has all the colors! After 10 G Wagen's since 2009 I am sad to say that my next $200K plus SUV that will never be taken off road will be something more rare and special. Heck even the RR Autobiography is now 10 times more rare than the G63.
I see 250 G63s nationwide in inventory. Not sure where you get 409. Also who finances more than $150k for any car in 2025 ? Put some money down if you bank won't finance more, if you can't come up with $50k your bank is doing you a favor not financing you, al that does is weed out speculators which I view as a positive. What we are seeing is some return to normalcy in the supply, we all complained about the $50k ADMs we were seeing at the low point of supply, if the current inventory levels allow MSRP sales and gets rid of flippers, I view that as positive and healthy, not a sign of over-production. 250 cars is average of 5 per STATE, and they won't be getting any more until the 2026's start delivery so that number will only go down. Hardly a glut.

and I checked every dealership in Texas and a few had G580s for sale but none had any G63's in their inventory for sale.

autotrader listed 20 G63's at MB of Sugarland for instance but checking the MB of Sugarland website, they had two G580's for sale and no G63's. So quite a large discrepancy.

Well, I hope so. As a buyer, I look forward to the glut, as that means we may be able to get them to come off sticker price at some point. Since MB raised the MSRP by another 5% this year, let's hope the higher price plus more inventory leads to discounts. I don't need 11,000, I just want one at a decent price.

My experience involved calling nearly 100 dealers in the Western US last year, and we (coincidentally) ended up taking delivery of our factory order W465 for just about retail on the anniversary of the W465 unveiling. Absolutely worth it, grueling as it was.

I hear you. I had to call all over the country as well for the 2024. Ended up getting it at a dealership in Anaheim California. My disadvantage now is that if I want to be able to take advantage of the sales tax credit in Texas to reduce the taxes I pay on the new vehicle, both the new vehicle and the trade have to happen at the same dealership and it has to be done at a Texas dealership. So now my list of prospective dealerships has gotten much smaller.

It doesn't have to be done at a Texas dealership. You can trade to an out of state dealer and still get your tax credits when they register it for you in Texas.

That's interesting. Have you actually done this? I've been reading the tax code and it specifically says only valid with Texas dealerships. So if you've been able to do it, I'd like to know how.

ie the loophole, for instance, would be that if the out-of-state dealership transfers it to an in-state dealership, and then the in-state dealership sells me the vehicle. However, the disadvantage to the out of state dealership is that they will not get credit for the sale and so that can hurt their future allocations.

Check with Benz and bowties on instagram. It won’t affect their allocation for selling out of state. It would affect their allocation if it’s exported out of the country. I don’t know the tax laws in Texas, but Doug would. They use dealer DMV.

My 26 China Blue G63 comes off the assembly line on 10/27..this is my first G. Also have a CLE53 AMG convertible & Aston DBX707. We are really excited. From past experiences, any idea when it should arrive to my dealer, if it’s built on 10/27? I was thinking end of November? This is crucial as it has to be purchased this year for tax purposes. Thanks for advice!

If everything goes right, you should have it by the end of November. Usually, about a month after it’s built. Congratulations!

If anyone is ordering soon and doesn’t want or hasn’t ordered the MANUFAKTUR Cherry wood luggage compartment floor for $2,400. Would you mind adding it to your build? I’ll pay for it and come pick it up, preferably in Texas or a surrounding state. Thanks!
