Need help with W465 G63 Build (US Spec)

Hi, all. I have two allocations that will be "frozen" in the next few weeks. I wanted to spec one of the builds essentially the exact same as in this YouTube video:

I was able to build/configure on MBUSA.com but I am noticing that the bull bar is black, however the lettering/running boards/side pipes are all silver. I thought maybe by selecting both Carbon Fiber package and Dark Chrome package that would alleviate but I'm not allowed to do that. How do I get:

- Running boards/side pipes/lettering in black / dark chrome?
- Can I NOT get the bull bar?

Here is my build on MBUSA: https://www.mbusa.com/en/share/build/A49Y6V

Thanks,
Keith

Bull bar is required since it was used in EPA safety certification or something like that. It's even more cumbersome to remove as they integrated the front camera for the 2025's.

Running boards/side pipes never come in dark chrome. The letters are dark chrome in that package.

Black letters, running boards, and side pipes are only with the night package plus which makes the bumpers and wheel arches black too. I believe carbon fiber has silver emblems.

Running boards can be wrapped and emblems changed. I'd get the package that gets how you want the bumpers, wheel arches, and bull bar to be and fix the other minor details later.

Thanks for that info @Hodog16 . I played around a bit more with the configurator and I don't see how to make the tailpipes black? When I specced the Night Package and Night Package Magno it changed the bumpers and wheel arches like you mentioned :/ I personally don't like that look, and want to keep the body color in those areas. Don't understand how others were able to spec like in the YouTube video I shared in the original post?

Ah, European models can spec the black running boards, emblems, and tailpipes separately.

Basically if you see it on a car without a bull bar, we can't do it here.

Gutted.... okay so if I go with Carbon Fiber package... what's the best way to get lettering, running boards, side pipes in a black that matches what the factory would do (and would that be matte on a mango exterior or would they be in obsidian metallic? obsidian mango?). want it to look as factory as possible.

I don't understand why the US spec has to have that bright contrasting silver!?!?!?!

Running boards - many members here have had them vinyl wrapped.
Side pipes - I don't think this is an easy fix but either replace with OEM part or powder coat tips if they somehow come off?
Lettering - plenty of aftermarket emblems on ebay but there exists OEM letters, so I'd find the part numbers and a VIN that's suitable and order from a Mercedes dealer either online or local
