Thank you so much! I have only seen Selenite grey in person once on a G wagon in loved it, so I appreciate seeing photos as I wait for my order. I also wanted subdued and not flashy, as I plan to build it up a bit with a roof rack, etc. This is my order:
Exterior: Selenite grey metallic
AMG Line package
Night Package Plus
Interior: Tartufo brown/black nappa leather, light brown zen wood trim, exclusive interior package, seat comfort package
Wheels: 20-inch AMG twin 5-spoke black

Thank you so much! I have decided to go with the Toyo Open Country A/T 3s likely, but may consider the KO3s as I do more research.

I had wondered about that, but I think Streborx has a G550 and confirmed he made the switch with no rubbing at stock everything. Though, I think he had a different tire than I am planning.

There can be a difference in calculated versus actual tire diameter. The 275/60R20 calclates to 33" diameter, while the BFG spec lists 34.1" -- certainly enough to cause a problem in some cases. Some of this might be due to the KO3's 16/32" tread depth, compared to 12/32" on some less aggressive A/Ts (such as my Geolanders). The only way to know for sure is to ask someone who knows or have a tire shop trial fit a tire. But if I was doing serious off-roading, I'd focus first on fitting the smallest wheel size that clears the brake calipers, and then go with as much sidewall height that can clear with some margin to spare.
Thank you so much for all your amazing advice! I plan to do only lighter off-roading with the G wagon, mostly easy forest and dirt roads around New England. So, I plan to keep my stock 20" wheels because it is mostly for on the road. I have my Land Cruiser 200 series for more serious off-road adventures, which has 18" wheels. These are the Toyo Open Country A/T 3's that I am likely going with, so hopefully there is no rubbing.
