For those who have driven both the previous G500 (2019-2024) and the new one from 2025, which one would you choose?
I need help deciding whether I should go for a V8 or I6 G500. I want to use this as my daily. I love the new keyless go, steering wheel and the touch screen but already owning a 2023 G63 and changing my daily for this new G (23 V8 RRS), I don't have an idea of how the new 6 Cylinder drives.
I really love the exhaust on my 23 G63 and how it drives, would not want to feel disappointed after changing my First Edition RR for a G that doesn't drives like how I'm used to.
I would probably install the AMG exhaust on the V8 G500, but Installing the exhaust on the 2025 would be mostly for looks as I don't think it's possible to get the sound or rumble of the V8 in this new 2025 G500
No plans of getting rid of the G63, but adding a second G.
Thanks

Daily driver? New I6 G500 hands down. Tons of power, more than you will want or need, better mileage, hybrid feature is great in city driving, it's just a better engine IMO. not to mention the tech features drag the car out of 2005.

Agree with you 100%. I don't want the OP to slap himself after purchasing the 2025, saying "but I could've had a V8"... (Showing my age as I'm referencing an old TV commercial for a vegetable drink).Originally Posted by W205C43PFL

For sure, buyer's remorse is the worse thing (been there and done that many times) next was seller's remorse (selling a car and getting something and you regret selling it)Originally Posted by AMGRonin
