2026 G63 washer fluid spraying question

So I have my 2026 G63 and it’s been snowy and salty here in Ohio and I’ve noticed the sprayer nozzles absolutely suck! They shoot direct like a squirt gun 4 spots on center of windshield/ they don’t even fan out or get the left or right side wet and it’s always a dry smear. Is this normal? I figured it would be a wider and more even spray. Curious if others notice this or see it as an issue?

Good question. I've noticed that it's helpful to hold the sprayer down for about two full passes of the wipers. It's a lot of spray but it allows the wipers to more evenly spread out the liquid and thus clean the windshield.

In similar conditions here with very low temps, ice on windshield, salt in the mix and used the washer last night with no issues on our 2026 G 63. Haven't seen this on previous year models either, although I have had to replace original wipers on each in year 1 as they were not great. Let us know how it goes - might just need a good cleaning to get the salt or whatever out. I keep mine outside so it not ideal and everything is pretty frozen right now.

I have also noticed that the spray is not really that great, but Coonsa has a good suggestion here, as I did that yesterday (held it down for about two full passes of the wipers) and it seemed to work better. It's been snowy and cold here in Massachusetts. I do not usually drive the G wagon much in winter, but I had to go somewhere yesterday and it got covered in slush and salt. I don't mind dirt and snow, but I absolutely cannot stand how much they salt the roads here!!!
I don't think the G wagon liked it, because it's been pooping in the garage. What a mess!!!! HAHAHAHA! I'll be power washing the whole thing, and using my undercarriage high pressure wash today or tomorrow.

They are BFG A/T KO3 tires in size LT275/55R20. They fit on my stock 20" AMG black rims just fine; no rubbing or issues at all - though you could not go much bigger at all without modifications (just fits). Below are some additional photos, let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks - those look amazing and add another dimension to your G. Nice build.
Sorry, all for diverting attention from the washer fluid question, but had to ask.

Thanks all for reply. They spray well, i mean its almost brand new- but they just shoot straight without angle or actual spray- its like a spray bottle with the little tip that needs to be adjusted so they spread when spraying. I am the same- dont mind the cold or snow- but hate the salt. My car has been covered in salt for 3 weeks- because temps havent been above 40, and i wont wash until its above that, but tomorrow its supposed to be mid 40's so im finally getting to wash it tomorrow. i just picked up a 2026 new GLS for a second driver so I dont have to get my baby G loaded with this salt and stuff all the time!

Congratulations on the GLS! It's nice to keep the G wagon out of the salt. This is my first winter with the G wagon and had to drive the other day when it was slushy. The salt is just ridiculous, seems like they pile it on here so they don't have to plow as much. I have since washed mine and definitely going to use my other vehicle when it's snowing. Luckily, we are slowly approaching Spring. I think you summed it up well, the washers shoot almost like it's a full stream and should be adjust to spread more. I assume it's been this way for many years, so we accept it as one of the fun quirks. Good luck getting the G washed!
