Haha, yeah i had one for 13 months starting in Sept 03, and put 21,000 miles on it. Alot of people said the car wasnt very reliable, but it took the everyday use well (i drove it hard alot too,) and never had a serrious problem with it.

The M3 is a fantastic car, if not the best (okay okay, since we're on a Mercedes forum, second or third best C55/C32) in it's class.
I just don't like it.

Looks:
M5 > E55 545i w/ Sport Pack > E500 545i w/ out sport < E500
M3 > C55 E46 330i w/ Sport Pack or Perf Pack > C350 330i w/out sport > C350
M6 > SL55 645i < SL500
The 6 is fairly stunning in person but not as much as a SL, but if its an M6 vs SL55.. roles reveresed.
The 5 is goregeous, it grew on me a lot, id take it any day over an E. Driving position is just perfect.. While the E.. I dunno it doesn't feel as good.
The E90 3, is not soo pretty looking.. So im comparing the E46 3 series which is very nice when you have the sports pack..
While the E class, and C class look very subtle, even with sport packs.. or in some cases AMG...
The M's look a lot more agressive, and yet maintain the wolf in sheep's clolthing attitude...
And im not mercedes Biased nor BMW biased.. I just speak the facts.

MB is the king of automobiles. PERIOD.
BMW doesnt even have a supercar... BMW whole line up is ugly, and once i had a 745i and damn was it a problematic piece of ****... got rid of it with in 5 month.
MB is the best.
Ps. M5 is Fragile lets wait and see how many of them gonna have engine and other problems.

iam still single , love to drive , so MB isn't for me , cuz it drives you ...
for me , I would definetly get the 997 later... (undecided which model)
bmw is cheap and ugly compared to MB ... but for sportier handling sorry bmw wins
