MB is the king of automobiles. PERIOD.
BMW doesnt even have a supercar... BMW whole line up is ugly, and once i had a 745i and damn was it a problematic piece of ****... got rid of it with in 5 month.
MB is the best.
Ps. M5 is Fragile lets wait and see how many of them gonna have engine and other problems.
p.s.s Go to roadfly and read how many people have 7 series problems STILL with newer models.

im guessing that the kid did not know how to shift in the M3. M3s are fast. there 0-60 is <5 seconds (SMG) taking that it was a 6sp, that could add .3 seconds.
the 0-60 on a G55K is 5.5 (mbz).
so, a kid with not too much 6 speed under his belt would infact loose to a 5.5 second car with his 5 second car. expecially if he does not know his down shifting points.
but any way, those G55K are very very fast!!! and ive lost to one in the SL.

ive seen this too, adn it is quite puzzling. on mbz they say 5.5, and i know they lie, so it is prob 5.3. but 4.7? no way. i know 2 ppl with teh s/c G55, and thy laughed when i told them 4.7 0-60.
..............you may be interested in this thread. a forum member ran his stock G55K at 13.6 secs in 1/4 mile in 95 degree temp. Really erases any doubt about the mototrend figure 0f 13.2 sec in 1/4 mile and 4.7 sec 0-60.

(that was me) im waiting for the weather to get a little cooler and this time i'll let the car cool down instead of throwing it straight on the track after a 1hr drive
