The G drives rough enough with real tires ... 
... and the rims remind me of a stylized 'Iron Cross', which is not a look I would want on a German truck ... or any vehicle for that matter :v
btw, if it is a G55, they have removed the side exhaust ... more likely a G500

............maybe I'm just too much of a fact checker. First, that is not a G55. It is a G500. Second the thread was started today 12/25/05 and there is definitely no G55 or G500 listed with those 22 inch rims. I then checked completed auctions for both G55 and G500. Yep, not such car. Wonder who actually owns this car.

...........has anyone actually seen a link to the ebay ad for this car or there no need to let facts stand in the way. I ask this because the G has a unique offset and one woulld have had to go through a huge deal of trouble just to place those admittedly ugly rims on the G. This plus the fact that no one seems to notice that contrary to what was said on the original post, this car is not a G55. Makes me think that no such car was actually ever on ebay and further, such a car may rest solely in the mind of the originator of this thread or in the minds of those that wish it to be so. Is this the "emperor's" ebay ad?

That is just hideous. However, the only major thing detracting from the looks of it is the wheel/tire combo. The color may not be to everyone's taste, but I don't find it to be bad at all. Just swap out the wheels/tires for some stockers or at least something not as hideous and it would look like a nice blue G500.

Its just so tough to find full sized SUV clients that prefer a classier appearance. Its kind of like once you get to the "big" SUV class, size is king, no matter what it looks like.
I truly believe in "to each his own" so I will just say that if that was my Gwag, I would probably choose a different wheel. But, so long as the owner likes it
