I can't see that being the case. The G55 is only getting a few cosmetic tweaks and a the updated engine from the SL55, no way the price is going up that much. If that is the sticker it is Canadian currency for sure!

2007 G55
I was quoted that figure by Mercedes Benz of Princeton.
They told me that they are only planning on importing 250 G55's for the U.S. market.
In Europe they are getting roughly 115,000 euros which today my friends equals $161,902.85, which would be in my opinion, ridiculous!
I currently have a Porsche Cayenne S which I've had since 2003.
I was really considering the G55 to be my next form of transportation.
I'm forced to look at other makes.(Which nothing is pulling toward me)
I can only wait til next month (so they say) like the rest of us.
I hope you are right with your estimate of $110,000.00 max.

Just came back from MB Manhattan placing an order for an ML63, I've also scooped up pricing on the 07 G55 for those of you who are interested, pricing will be $105,000, which comes loaded with options, there are only 2 accessories avaliable for the truck from dealer. Official words were the G55 will continue til 2010.
