New G55 added to the family
Here are some shots of my new G55. Still in the break in period but I love the sound!! Far better than my SL65.
Cheers!

Very sweet! I am still pissed at myself for selling the 2005 G500 Cabriolet I imported from Germany. I would love another one with the new updates but importing was a pain and took a while. I am thinking about the new G55. I am a G fan and even though they are way behind in tech. they are still super cool to drive! Congrats!

How's the GTC treating you? Out of interest, was it the AWD that swayed you towards that ahead of the DB9 Volante?
I'm just curious as the DB9 Volante is the car I'm really going to cave in for one of these days. This year was a new home, next year is the RS6 so... the year after that I'll perhaps treat myself to a weekend convertible
Sasan- the OP didn't say he preferred the G itself to the SL, just that it sounded better. The V12TT is relatively muted you see, certainly when compared to the G55K.

Thanks for all of the compliments! It has been a fun car so far. It is quite thirsty! I will post some more pictures in a couple of days. The new dash and upgrade of the 2007.5 are all quite nice.
Should have the break-in done next week.......

Rich,
I am sure that it will find its way to SRD for a pass or two! It was just added to the stable, we have bothe been driving it. Needed something thta could tow a trailer.

Go for it, Jeff. I miss my 500 (except for the electrical problems) and love the gunmetal wheels/interior updates to the '07 55.

Not to hijack the thread but I picked the GTC over the Aston because the back seats are actually useable and I think the Bentley's interior was much nicer. Either car is nice and the Astons are dropping like stones so when you are ready you will get a steal!

Good luck with your new ride...
Enjoy the exhaust rumble and bouncing all over the highway..
One thing is that you won't see yourself "coming and going"..
It's one hell of a truck !!!

I bet its the summer heat. My SL55 is down on power, and all the cars in the past month or so we have tuned show a little lite on the dyno......but it is 113!
Nice looking 'G' btw!

......Not as hot here as in Arizona. Despite the heat the Arizona crew do turn up some nice numbers on on your modified benzes. My best times in the G55 were in November last year, so will try again this winter.
