How to get rid of ESP

Does anyone know how to turn of the ESP on a 07 G55? Is there maybe a fuse or an aftermarket option?
Turning it off with the button would be best - but obviously as soon as you hit more than 30mph it goes back on.

Do a search on dyno mode. But then EVERYTHING is off. No ABS.

Thanks a lot for your input Jon,

actually found the dyno mode. I am actually hoping to find a more permanent solution. I like to spontanously be able to hang out the rear a bit - going thru all those steps to enter dyno mode would be a complete buzzkill. Also I do like ABS, but it wouldn't be the end of the day to live without it.

Ultimately I would hope that the ESP off does what is says; and stays completely off as long as it is de-activated by this button. Should be a simple software hack...if you have access to ESP software. Wonder if it could be addressed while doing an ECU tune ?

ESP is pretty important in preventing rollovers, especially in the G.

Buy a used E55 is you are looking for smoky drifts.

I agree that rollovers could certainly become possibility at high speeds , but I am pretty confident in my driving abilites to prevent myself to get in such a situation on the occasions where I'd turn the ESP off.

But I would love to speak to one of those AMG engineers how worked on setting up the G55 to see how high/low the threshold is for the G is, to become in danger of lifting it's inner two tires...

Smoky drifts in a G55 would be MUCH more exciting , smoky drifts on E55 are possible? Thought they are also castrated by same silly ESP and on top don't have an LSD.

For anyone else looking to turn off the ESP - I found a mod in another forum (p3) to the differential cables where you can make a very easy and simple on/off button for ESP and as well for the ABS - individually.

The ESP is very firmly engineered into these cars, and is very tough to get rid of, but nothing is impossible. Having said that, the G55 is probably a car that needs some electronic nanny hanging out for good measure.

As of right now, we can get you more power and reduce its influence, but it remains in the background.
