i beleive the chrome package will be available in all G55 2010 models as standard option in UAE market if not the whole middle east..... which we didnt see in the imported one by ( auto gear showroom ).
the problem that even the sales guys in the agency dont know even one info of what we discuss over here !! which is really wierd and dont give us the ability to order what might be the best of the options !!!

The interior chrome package will be standard in the Middle East, but the Edition 79 also has an exterior chrome package similar to the one that comes on all G55's sold in the US. Honestly, I don't like the exterior package...but the interior one is more tasteful.

Jimmyg..i do agree with you about the exterior chrome package .. personally i dont like it too
.. do you know if the RIMs of the Middle east regular 2010 will differ than 2009 one or not ?

you are right AGR,, but the disadvantage that is here,, the ordering process will take several months 6-11 months ,, and specially for 2010 when no one was aware about the modification on the new model... you ordered what you hear not what you see... like the inside chrome package , etc ...

I personally think the wait is too long here and not worth it. They had a couple of 2009 G55s in the showroom back in July when I decided to buy a G class. So I picked up one rather than wait another year for the 2010 model even though I knew about the changes.
