If true, we should see proof in a few weeks time.

Got an email from my dealer confirming no guard on rear lights, front signal lights and headlights.
Make sure to stock up 1 or 2 G55 (pre-2011) ... looks like it's losing it's virility!

I would wait for the new engine ... but since you are looking for a reason to buy an 11 ... transition years can get screwed up ... the 02 had lots of problems ... the 05 Grand Editions vs non ... the half and half 07

Thanks . I guess I'm that obvious. I need a new truck and want the G. I am just hoping I won't regret getting the 11 when I already know about the 12 changes.

My assumptions are that I can get 5k off an 11 and 15k off a 10. It seems that resale drops at least that each MY so why not get the newer year. Perhaps my thought process is flawed and if so I am sure this board will let me know why!

You lean towards the 2012. Wait for it. No more headaches.

According to my dealer, the 2 new options on MY 2011 are:
Rear compartment entertainment package
Head restraint, crash responsive
He does not know whether the MY 2011 will have any facelift or engine upgrades.
It's becoming clearer to me that all these articles are referring to changes to be introducted in 2011 (for MY 2012)

How does it compare to the Cogniac?
