Hovyamg...I don't think that's the part...it's the chrome guards over the side repeaters on the hood....ridiculous either way

Are you referring to the guards on signal lights? It could very well be but like you said "ridiculous either way".

Official real life pics of 2011 G55 (brush guard still there, nice)

- no guards on front signal lights

- no guards on rear lights

+1 on the post.

looks good however, there's something about those guards that I like. So I'll be keeping my 2010 with front and rear guards for a very lonnng time.

Same here, I love the guards and I'll put them back on if I get a later G55 model. They're a piece of cake to install anyway.

I suspect that 99% of owners will install there on their G55

Saw one today as well. Is it possible the rear taillights are larger on the 11 or does it just seem that way to me without the guards?

Is this something the dealer would do or aftermarket? Anyone know how much? Thanks.

I'd love to get a G55 without the bumper guard though. Looks cleaner.

By looking at the following pdf instructions, looks easy to remove as a whole.

http://fourbyfourclub.com/Manuals/W4...GuardAntec.pdf

http://fourbyfourclub.com/Manuals/W4...stallation.pdf

It would leave holes that you could mask with OEM rubber covers (like the ones that are in place for state with no front license plate).

Either way, nobody removes my front brush guard nor the lights guards.

Recall is for 2002 to 2009, mine's a 2010, yes!
While I do think the 2011 g55 will have a brush guard but no lamp guards dont go by the pics on mbusa website because even for model yr 2010 the pics on that site showed no brush guard or lamp guards.

Correct. 2011 has brush guard but no lights guards. About MBUSA, it still has the interior of 2008-2009 pics.
