How u doin guys i have a g55 but i want a new one instead of a SL55 Amg just because if the G55 to Renntech or another tuner i can just make as fast u know what i mean. But if i ordered one u think i can Get a White Ext with special Red Amg inside and what would u rather have a SL55 Amg with 500hp, or G55K with 600hp

You might be able to get a G55 + Kleeman as fast as an SL 55, but it will never handle as well. MBUSA does not offer the full designo options that you can get outside the US. They only have two designo packages which suck. My parents live in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and their dealer is one of the 5 largest outside of Germany in terms of volume. They have an entire Designo/AMG showroom and you can get a G55 in any color, any body style, your choice of interior materials, multimedia and mobile-office equipment directly from AMG. They are also BRABUS dealers and you can do the same from them.

I would suggest calling the guys at BRABUS USA and seeing if they'll do a special G55 for you with their 6.1L engine and red interior like you want.

When you enter the showroom, go to the right side and head back. They usually have a bunch of AMG and Brabus vehicles parked there along with some displays showing wheel/trim options. There is an office in that section and an attractive lady who runs that department. She knows all of the AMG/Brabus mechanical and aesthetic options pretty well and can give you pricing.

Where do you live? I'll be moving back to Dubai in August and will visit them if I decide not to bring my G500 with me.

Are you talking about the wheel area? They had a bunch of Brabus, AMG and I think Lorinser wheels back there. Must look more carefully next time.

Even with a big engine the G 55 can't be as fast as the Sl 55 (too much weight and a really bad aerodynamic). The 6.1 conversion from Brabus will suit your G 55 perfectly, much more than the kleeman kompressor (it will bring more power than the car can handle).

G55 is already a special order from AMG (at least in Europe), I'm pretty sure u could get one with the V8K.

As for getting a G wagon to be as fast as an SL55 its pure lameness just my .02$

I have a G55 Kleemann with about 600HP. My father has a stock SL55. The SL55 is still significantly faster for obvious reasons, weight, aerodynamics etc. I did the G55 conversion for fun, not to compete with a sports car which it can never be no matter now much money you spend on it. My G55 Kleemann was recently tested by Car and Driver and went 0-60 in under 5 seconds and covered the 1/4 mile in the high 13's. Pretty impressive for such a large vehicle, but again not a sports car. Paul, I've driven a Brabus ML6.1 in Los Angeles as they were one of the tuners that I considered. It is a nice conversion, twice the price of Kleemann, and much less power. The perfromance was not even close, Kleemann would blow it away. Before you post opinions on different tuners you should try driving their vehicles.
