Im thinking of the magnatite black for my G63 order, but havent seen this colour in person. Any pics of it with a G63?

Definitely not magnetite. Looks like designo graphite.

 

Just asked my sales dude, designo magno platinum.
Hong Kong is charging an arm and leg for options.
Should go with a normal color and wrap it or respray the car when it arrives.

Anyone with pics or opinions for magnetite black on a G class?

 

There's a major difference between designo magno paint and wrapping the car. The paint will last decades, the wrap only months. As soon as you get your first scratch, regardless of the type of wrap you get, it starts to degrade. I've had both and the magno paints are worth it if you like the matte/satin finish.

 

I might get the car resprayed in hong kong at a later date. The cost /tax is not worth it in my opinion. Friend has a car shop so he can get the designo color codes.

 

I would love to see Magnetite on ANY MB,to get an idea what's it look like.
On another note,
Vinyl guy smothers this site,posting his pics of wrapped Lexus and BMW's on all the threads from top to bottom.
You can't just scroll to see what's new,you have to open every thread just to see if there are any new posts.

 

My R is Majestic Black which is the predecessor to Magnetite Black. You can see pictures of my car in my build thread. Majestic is more blue with hints of grey while Magnetite is more gray with hints of blue and green.
