........fantastic! I will check on this on Tuesday and report back. They searched by G63 vin number and it always cross referenced to the A166 part number. Very glad you found the G-wagon specific part numbers. I am also going to go ahead and just purchase new ones based on the G-wagon specific numbers you provided and compare them. Thanks

Hi mate I have checked the part number! The caliper cost around 600eur each. I am still not sure about the part. Cos it has a different disc than mine. I really don't know which is correct

Which part number does not match your set, the caliper or disc? What is your part number for caliper or disc?

my part number are A4634210712 for the brake disc and A1664214198 for the caliper. however, the brake disc part number is different. therefore, I think the part number is for certain G, may be not for G63

Does anyone know the smallest size rim that will fit with the G63 brakes?

Specifically, will the standard 18" AMG G55 rims fit around the calipers?

Hi Kelvin,

Do you have photos of your stock Bluetec brakes rotors and calipers that you removed? Do you know if they are larger than 2003-2004 G55 brakes?

With reasonable certainty 18" rims do not fit. You will need at least 19".

The AMG brake discs are bigger and thicker to guarantee more brake power.

Does it really make a real difference? Yes, my G55's brakes are soft(ish) but maybe I should test drive the G63 to test for a real difference...

Racingbrake (RB) is pleased to announce that we are developing a complete brake upgrade option for G in this thread:

https://mbworld.org/forums/g55-amg-w...ml#post6544756

We are also capable to design and make the needed adaptors so that you can utilize ML63 6-pot front calipers and mount to your G55/G500/G350 Bluetech. (Calipers can either be your own source or ordered from us - Brand new ones from MB dealer)

This is the same adaptor that we make for C63 owners upgrade to Black Series big rotors, and E63 owners upgrade to S63/S65 (from 360mm to 390mm)

Same as the adaptors (black anodized) in the bottom corner of this picture:

2014 CLS 550 4matic
I stumbled across this thread, because I am looking for brake adapter brackets as well, and am wondering if anyone can help? I tried sending a message to racingbrake.com, but haven't heard back. I have a 2014 CLS 550 4matic, and would like to upgrade to front/rear CLS 63 calipers/rotors. Mercteil suggested CLS 63 steering knuckles and control arms to install with the brakes, but my shop mentioned that may make alignment tricky. Plus, I'd rather not add the knuckles/arms if I don't need to, and can get some adapter brackets instead. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

Your request should be under your car forum. This is for G.

Since this is not a direct replacement so any request can only be responded upon our review of your existing set up vs. the intended upgrade; i.e. 2014 CLS 550 4matic to CLS 63 calipers/rotors as you have expressed.

RB big brake kits are designed and made by a professional brake company with 30 years in brake business, and go well beyond the parts swap among available MB components.

Filling in nicely the 19”

No extra space

Question: i have upgraded to G63 calipers my february 2006 G55k...however now the pedal feel is very spongy (new fluid and bleed several times)

do do you also need to upgrade the master cylinder and booster?
