So it's not surprising you would find a bunch of 18" AMGs for sale because many people who have G55's model year 2003-2008 are going for the more current look of the 19" or 20" rims. To each his/her own I guess. I personally like the 18" AMG ones that came stock on mine.
Saw some good discussions on wheels, but few on brakes.
I wonder after upgrading to those big wheels how you treat your brakes, and is OE brake set up enough to deal with the weight and speed of the vehicle.

If you have 21"+ wheels, Racingbrake's 17" (432mm) huge brake rotor kit will look every nice behind those big wheels.
We also have 410mm rotor kit that can fit under 20" wheels.
Brake is our main business, RB makes more two piece stock replacement (Carbon Ceramic or Iron), and brake kits for Mercedes than any competition in the industry.

I got ADV wheels for my G63 but I stayed with a 20" and put beefier tire on a 10" wide AdV wheels. Is this gonna be a whole brake system upgrade or just carbon ceramic rotors that will fit my stock caliper. On the rear I would upgrade the whole brake system with cc rotor and 4 or 6 pot calipers. Let me know when something will be available.
Wish I was local to you as I would bring you my truck to have the kit made(test mule)
We can offer either carbon ceramic or iron rotor kit.
For Carbon ceramic rotor kit: 410mm F / 390mm R (Same exact rotor size as Porsche 991 GT3 pccb)
For Iron rotor kit: 410mm F / 400 R
Our complete caliper kit is equipped with 6 pot front and 4 pot rear caliper, but will also check if OE calipers can be re-used at least for the front and we will design and provide custom caliper brackets, and offer a rear 4 pot kit to complement with the front.
Caliper finish is in hard anodizing and can be powder coated in Red, Black or Porsche Yellow.

Interested in front cc rotors for a 20" wheels with stock calipers, and upgrade rear caliper
/rotor to cc rotors with 4 pot calipers. Is it possible not to have any lettering on the caliper?
Thanx

RB is developing a complete brake upgrade offer for all "G" from 2004 up until 2015.
There is a local 2015 G63 owner interested in Carbon Ceramic rotor upgrade who might be able to bring his truck to our shop for some spindle check/measurement.
Once this is done our brake kits (including retrofit like the thread discussed below) will be released.
