Best tuning for g63
Who should I go with, Leaning towards OE because they seem active here and are priced lower than most. Who did you go with and why

2- Hennessey Performance

well know and massive 700hp

I wouldnt give my car to Hennessey if they tuned it for free.

I took my G63 to Renntech. They did a great job. This truck is fast as hell now. The other day I was in my Ferrari California and my brother in law was in the G. We both took off side by side at a green light. The G was literally neck and neck with the Ferrari. I am very happy with Renntechs tune- couldn't imagine anyone doing a better job quite honestly.

just ecu tune or something more ?

Same here....at least everything but the Ferrari part

IMHO, the ECU is all you need to do. Low price/big returns. The exhaust is already loud, without being obnoxious. Body kits and wheels....not for me.

All I did was the ECU tune and replaced the air filters. I am really surprised at the torque and speed.

Same here...just the ECU...and the difference is plain insane, on an already stock-rocket.

My understanding is that the transmission upgrade is more for off-the-line torque demands and I believe that is why RennTech throttled back on the tuning specs. Having said that, I spoke w/Renntech about the specs and they said they will still flash w/the original specs if asked.

a lot of people on various forums seem to be very negative about Hennessey; there has to be some truth to it - however always amazed how much press Hennessey is getting in mayor publications.

Renntech - but stock is best...

Press in major magazines and media is all about advertising dollars.
