Power Loss

for the 3rd time now, when i am WOT, the G loses all power. I have an E55 and the IC pump went bad, it feels identicle but what is odd is that the G already has the new pump, no CEL, and the fact its a 2011 that would be pretty quick for the pump to go bad.

I dont know if the G has other issues or if its just probably the pump again. Any of you guys ran into this issue?

Have you read the code(s) with an OBDII reader ?

To make things worse the dealer said they found no codes or issues.... It was 50 degrees outside and after WOT 2 times in a row it lost almost all power. It certainly feels like the IC pump problem but its a 2011.... And the dealer said there were no codes.

I cant imagine this is a heat soak issue. Do the G wagons heat soak that easy....?

Never had a problem in 100F ambient with my 2005 G55K.

When I first got the G55K it would throw codes under hard acceleration and go into a limp mode.
Turning the engine off and restarting would clear the fault.

There was a service bulletin T-B-07.08/61, March 6, 2006, that stated a software upgrade was required to resolve this issue.

Did the upgrade and no problems since.

i will have them check it out. i assume being a 2011 it should be done, but who knows. Thanks for the help.
