2013 G 63 AMG
Picked up my "designo" 2004 G55 last week
I know it's not appropriate to post about a new car without including pictures, but I'm going to anyway!
I picked up a new 2004 G55 AMG in designo Silver with two-tone leather (designo Silver and Anthracite leather). I really wasn't sure this was a good color to get, but now that I've had it a few days it's become my favorite color for the G-Class. This is a European spec G55, but there are very few differences between it and the US version (more options).
I'll be traveling the next two weeks so I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but I'll post some at the end of the month when I get back home. For those of you in the U.S., ignore the picture of the designo Silver G-Class in the 2004 brochure...it's totally wrong. This color looks much better in person. Too bad MBUSA doesn't offer the two-tone leather interior...it's great!
