G55 or G500

G55 or G500
.............I posted this before the forum went down. I have a G55 on the way. I will pick it up finally on friday. But I am still quite undecided. Is it really worth the extra $20K to buy a G55. You still have to change the shocks back to g500 shocks at extra cost. Will it not make more sense to buy a G500 and add a Kleeman?

I DONT HAVE A G55 AND IM SURE YOU KNOW BY NOW THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE DO.. THE G500 AND ADDING KLEEMAN WOULD BE GREAT BUT ITS NOT A LIMITED EDITION AND THERES WARRENTY ISSUES.. I WOULD STICK WITH THE G55 AMG...

Voided warranty would be the biggest concern for me. I think that the kleemann adds appeal to a specific group that aren't concerned with the $s that could be generated by a voided warranty or possible problems after the installation. All AMG cars/trucks are limited production, but even more so G55s are one of MBUSA's most limited production vehilces. Shock change is a pretty minimal cost, and it is merely for comfort. I would stick with your original plan of getting the 55. BTW the exhaust note on these things are great!
