How does that paint hold up. Is it easy to get scratched, does to get swirl marks! Is it durable? Dealer is offering me a mate black with carbon interior but I'm scared of the mate black paint. Called around people I know and got mixed answers.
I always hand wash my cars and always take good care of them. I have a parking spot but it's outside so it be exposed to the elements ever, and I also have two kids(one is on the way my wife is due in May
Thank You all in advance!!!

My buddy has a matte yellow aventador and says its very easy to care for. However there are specific soaps, chemicals etc to use and not use. Let me look up the names.

Some good information on how to care for matte finishes. I think the most alarming thing was the fact that you can't really fix scratches and damage to the paint as you would with a traditional clear coat finish. You basically have to repaint the damaged section. If I were you I would probably just Satin Guard the entire vehicle that way I wouldn't have to worry too much about damaging the paint with daily use.

My stock silver wheels looked awful after about a week of driving so I powdercoated them black. World of a difference. Still turns bronze after a while but much less noticeable than when they were silver.
