Chrome Key Pre 09 with Part # Plus An Added Bonus =)
Fellas I got it finally !! Uber awesome new parts guy at my local MB.
Three different dealers told me Pre 09 you can NOT get a new chrome
style key for the W463s. I knew they were all full of sh#t. With a tad
bit of persistence and an awesome guy, we found the part #. I still
wasn't sold until .... today when I got the key =) So here it is and the
part # to help anyone else out there who had my trouble. Now you don't
need to DIY for a retro fit or modification from old to this new bad boy.
No programming no service appointment, worked upon unwrapping.

ADDED AMG KEY COVER w. Logo (awesome)

EDIT, you can also get the updated key as shown above but in all black if you don't want chrome.

Well for clarity , yes it worked out of the box, but you must
use the key part # I provided, in conjunctions with your own VIN #
when ordering.
The part # is just the chrome remote and blank key blade, when
you provide the VIN # (mandatory) the dealer orders it and then
they key and remote will be sent pre programmed to your G and
they key blade gets cuts specific to your key cylinders.
