Smaller pulley for G55
I want to get a little more power out of our 2010 G55, From what ive gathered UPD is a good quality pulley and ill go with them but I am stuck between the sizes. I was thinking on going to 83mm but the 77mm is only 100$ more. The G55 is stock and has no other mods. I know ill need a smaller belt and i can get away with leaving the injectors alone but just worried about the cooling system. I also have a W211 E55 and it has a lot more cooling mods, ill eventually go to 77mm on that but im unaware of any bigger HE for the G-class. The G55 is not daily driven and it only comes probably once or twice a month, would you guys recommend sticking with 83mm or just go with the 77mm?

I've thought about the same to up the boost slightly. You'll need a tune also to adjust the AFR. My thought was to go through VRP as they have smaller pulleys with belt wrap kits, along with larger secondary coolers that do fit on the G, as well as splitting the cooling system. A few have done these mods but not much is documented about it. I wanted to upsize the headers first to the longtube set from MBH then add a custom tune, probably sticking with an 83 to keep the boost lower overall and keeping the pulley diameter ratio in check.
