wow gorgeous.

so you did both ceramic coating and ceramic tint to the windows? how much did that cost you?

also how much over MSRP did you have to pay for G63?

I think ceramic with full detail was like $1250. I have a mobile detailer who details it monthly.
Ceramic tint was $480.
I didn't pay over msrp.

1st wash with the full wrap experience

Update: I just washed it for the first time. With the full matte wrap and full ceramic coating, it was a breeze to wash and then dry with a microfiber towel. I purchased my supplies from Griott's garage as recommended by XPEL manager in Houston. The large microfiber towel I purchased absorbed all of the water on the vehicle. As in it dried the entire vehicle without having to wring it out, and then I just threw it in the washer.

How is it to wash with ceramic coating but not PPFed? Also, how much were the rubber mats? The dealer in Houston with a 20% discount was $750 for the mats. That seemed excessive.

Having taken a couple of road trips, I love the PPF. No rock chips, and easy to wash. Reduces my angst. I'm now doing the interior PPF for additional peace of mind.

My 24 monza grey G63 is getting PPF as we speak. I am using Kavaca based out of San Diego.
My broker quoted me 10.5 for full warp with some parts removals.

That's a good price for a full wrap. Who's doing it and what dealer did you get the vehicle from? I purchased mine from Mercedes Benz of Anaheim.

When I shopped around the LA area, prices were pretty high. I shipped the G63 to Houston and got the wrap done at an XPEL company owned location there, since the car lives in Texas.

It's just hard to strike up a deal when theress no shortage of people willing to pay over msrp for the car they want.

My question is other than getting ceramic coating to protect the paint what are some other things new owners like myself should do and know?
Here are a few other things I added.

Have you installed it yet? I have one but haven't found any YouTube videos to show what/how to remove the panels to run the wire to the back.

Yes just got it installed yesterday. Not sure which model you've got but I got the FitCamX. This is how it looks like:

I have the same, but only did the front as I was a bit lazy to figure out the rear camera.

That's what I have. Any tips for how to get the wire from the front to the back window? The path you took and what had to be removed. Any gotcha's?

Use the blue plastic tool that was included with the dashcam. I took the drivers path and didn't need to remove anything. Don't be scared to apply some pressure

I will try and get some pictures later for you

Thanks! Where did you shove the wire so that you don't see it? Didn't you have to remove the A pillar to hide the wire from the dash cam to the power source? I thought you can only plug the front camera into the existing wiring. If installing the back camera as well, you have to find both a hot all the time and a hot when running wires. The hot all the time wire is underneath the rear passenger side seat. Looking forward to what you can share from having just done the install.
