Wheels and Tires - 22" or 24"....hmmmm?
Wheels and Tires - 22" or 24"....hmmmm?
Guys,
Waiiting on my 2025 G63 to be delivered. I'm putting forged wheels on it and trying to decide between 22" or 24". I know I want to go with Nitto Recon Grapplers. I have been visiting with several wheel manufacturers and even though there has been contradicting opinions, I think either 22" or 24" will work. Tire sizes would be 305/45/22 or 305/35/24. I tend to always push the limit with wheels and tires, but I definitely want no rubbing at full turn, with passengers in back, etc. AND, I want to do no modifications. When looking at pictures, those 24" sure do look good with the Nitto tires. Has anyone on this forum put 24" wheels on a 2021 or newer G63 with Nitto Recons, Terras, Ridges and experienced no rubbing, etc.? I know I could play it more safe with the 22", but actually the 22" tire height is more than the 24". The 24" tires are a bit wider but with 24" I would do a 10" wide wheel instead of a 10.5" wide wheel with the 22". Do yall think 35 series compared to 45 series will make harsher ride, or barely noticeable?
